Server text quoted as a JSON string in one of the client's own messages — a wrapper key,
a row's field name, the start of a body that is not JSON: JSON.stringify, which
escapes C0, and then DEL, C1 (U+009B is the 8-bit CSI), U+2028, U+2029 and the bidi
controls, which it leaves raw, escaped as \uXXXX too. Unlike serverTextForMessage,
which drops them, the quote keeps every character visible. The caller cuts.
