• "page": an offset-paginated envelope, an object with an items array and a numeric total_count (every search endpoint and the code lists);
• "cursor": a cursor-paginated envelope, an object with an items array (the XZuFi entity listings);
• "list": an array (the versions endpoints);
• "record": a non-empty object, not an array (a single record, a quality report).
